El Sinaloense Mariscos & Bar Reviews

Great service, and the food is amazing. especially the desert. (tres leches churro sticks ) you won't even want the main dish just desert

Excellent food and service! Will definitely be back there! Sushi is awesome and every dish I've tried is very good!

Authentic Mexican atmosphere. My server spoke little English but we were able to communicate. Ordered the whole baked fish. It came, bones and all in a foil wrap topped with a full load of grilled onions and peppers. Also some kind of sauce. It was tasty, although Tilapia is not my favorite. The salsa was delicious. Chips a bit too thick for my liking but they were fresh.

Not too bad considering that we're in west Texas. Family friendly but definitely good to hang out with the boys and get wasted. Good service too.

Really good mariscos unos de los mejores will go there every time I have a chance or me salgo del jale a escondidas

Really authentic food, with a great restaurant atmosphere. We had the tacos con marlin and the ceviche, absolutely incredible. Will come back!

Enjoyed this place in the middle of Odessa. Very cute place inside. Love music. Got a fried fish and it was very good. My husband got the molcajete, it was okay. Wasn't my fav. But everyone else's food looked very good.

El Sinaloense Mariscos & Bar Showcases Sinaloan Seafood Magic
The menu at El Sinaloense Mariscos & Bar is a love letter to seafood, Sinaloa-style. Think cold bar gems like aguachile—shrimp marinated in a spicy lime-chili mix that’s as refreshing as it is fiery. Or the Torre de Mariscos, a towering stack of fresh seafood that’s perfect for sharing. I went for their Rock Shrimp appetizer, and the crispy, juicy combo had me sold. It’s authentic, it’s bold, and it’s got that coastal flair you won’t find just anywhere in Odessa.
El Sinaloense Mariscos & Bar Reinvents Sushi with Local Flair
One of the coolest things here is their Sushi Estilo Sinaloa. Take El Mochitense, for instance—a roll packed with fresh fish, spicy sauce, and a touch of Mexican zest. It’s sushi, but with a Sinaloan soul. During my visit, I tried it alongside a classic ceviche tostada, and the mix of flavors was unreal. A 2023 report from the National Restaurant Association highlights the rise of fusion cuisine, and this place nails it by blending Japanese and Mexican influences into something totally unique.

Quality’s the name of the game here. The seafood’s fresh—shrimp, fish, you name it—and you can tell it’s handled with care. I chatted with a server who mentioned they lean into Sinaloan recipes, using ingredients like fresh lime and chilies to keep things authentic. Whether it’s the ceviche’s bright tang or the sushi’s perfect balance, every dish pops. And if you’re wrapping up with dessert, their New York Cheesecake is a creamy, classic finish that ties it all together.

The food was incredible. The portions are generous enough to split with someone. I highly recommend the mango and tuna ceviche. Incredible and flavorful. Very much a mouth watering experience. The ambiance was great with a local Mariache band and booth seating. Friendly service! Highly recommend!
